This is an actual advertisement but it was just so funny I had to post it. It doesn’t even really make sense. But maybe that’s how he famously took a couple loaves of bread and several fish and fed the starving masses….by making ceviche: everyone got a small chunk of citrus marinated fish.

Gyoza dog

I have found many interesting and strange things for this blog courtesy of the Japanese. This post is no different. At Japan’s equivalent of Disneyworld, DisneySea, they sell Gyoza dogs. They are dumplings with hot dogs inside them…and Umami Mart reports that the lines for these babies are just as long as the rides themselves!

Ok really, if you take a look at the picture, there’s not much different from your typical dog. Bread encasing a hot dog. I’m sure if you throw some mustard on the gyoza dog they would taste pretty good. Plus, they probably travel really well which is pretty important when you have to dodge a million Japanese kids running around, hopped up on funnel cakes and sugary drinks.
