Gott’s Roadside

Gott’s Roadside is a burger and shake joint off the side of a road. It’s quite cute actually. It’s outdoors and there are various wooden patio tables with umbrellas scattered in the yard outside where patrons can eat.   It reminded me of the old 50s drive thru burger joints.

You walk up to the window, give your order and then they will call your name over the loudspeaker when your food is ready.

Cookie Monster got the delicious and sinfully thick coffee flavored shake:

And the burger with bacon, barbecue sauce, cheese and sauteed mushrooms and onions on toasted sourdough bread:

It was pretty good. The barbecue sauce was slightly sweet and added a nice smokiness to the burger. I really liked the buttered sourdough bread.

I got the classic burger:

Thick fresh slices of pickles, tomatoes and lettuce.  The burgers had real grill marks on them and the bun was buttered.

Shot of the perfectly medium rare innards:

That burger was yum. Reminded me alot of the delicious In-and-Out burgers in California.

We also got the fries and then rolled our full stomachs back to the hotel room for a nap:
