Continuing our touristy ways, we visited Ghirardelli Square (yes of chocolate fame). Cookie Monster needed a snack and there was a very pink and inviting cupcake shop that called us in.
Many many varieties to choose from and I was very drawn to the minimalist decorations that still had a very girly appeal to them:
We decided on two: the banana bread cupcake and the red velvet:
Cookie Monster loved (I mean LOVED) the banana one. He was all “This is the most moist and delicious cupcake ever!” haha. The red velvet one was tasty too but I guess the banana won him over.
I also saw Kara’s cupcakes at the San Fran airport. I think this is just a San Fran thing unfortunately.
