I’ve mentioned Koreans know how to do dessert. Look at this cake we got for my dad’s birthday from a patisserie in the Lotte Mall, Korea – it’s white chocolate cake with white chocolate bordering the cake topped with rasberry sauce and candied fruit! It was so good, light, fluffy and not too sweet.
I love asian cakes. I can’t explain it, they just taste “different” from American or European ones. In my opinion, better, not too saccharine sweet and more understated in a delicate way.
